On Thursday, January 24, 2019, friends, volunteers and ACT team members got together at Full Beard Brewing on Wilson to kick off the Coldest Night of the Year campaign for this year.
Join us February 23rd, 2019 as we walk 2, 5, and 10 kilometers in Timmins to raise awareness and funds to support the people in our community who are hungry, homeless, and hurting.
For over 10 years Anti-Hunger Coalition Timmins has worked hard to provide collaborative programs and projects to work toward our vision of ALL people in our community having access to affordable, healthy, and fresh foods.
All proceeds from this event will go toward supporting our food-secure programs, such as Good Food Box, Collective Cooking, and Community Gardens. This year, our goal is to raise $40,000.
To help us achieve our goal, you can become a sponsor, register a fundraising team, be a volunteer, or donate. For more information please visit https://cnoy.org/location/timmins .
Let’s work together to create a food-secure community!
Special thanks to Brian Jones for taking pictures at this event (and many of our other ones!)
